December 2008 Die Erste News Vol. 2
As we approach the end of 2008, we at
DIE ERSTE thank all of our partners for another wonderful year
of great cooperation. Despite the global economy crisis, DIE
ERSTE is here to support you in every way. If there is
anything we can do, just ask. For those who celebrate this
wonderful time of the year, we sincerely wish you happy
holidays!
Die Erste’s Cryogenic Ball Valves are
specifically designed to offer exceptional performance under
the most extreme cold working temperature conditions. Our
Cryogenic valves have extended bonnets positioning the stem
packing sufficiently above the cryogenic fluid and providing a
column of warmer vapor that insulates the stem seal from the
affects of low temperatures. The ball has a pressure relief
hole on the upstream side to prevent over pressure of the body
cavity from thermal expansion. The high performance/low
thermal stress design of valve parts assures tight shutoff,
zero body leakage and low torque through large thermal
excursions from ambient to -320°F.
‧Size range:
- Flanged End Type: DN15 - DN100
- Threaded End Type: DN15 - DN 100
‧Pressrue rating:
- Flanged End Type: PN16, ANSI CLASS 150
- Threaded End Type: ANSI CLASS 800 (2000 psi)
‧Temperature range:
-196°C
~ +205°C (-320°F ~ +400°F)
Pressure safe stem assembled
inside the body for blowout prevention
Upstream ball relief hole prevents
dangerous overpressure due to thermal expansion.
Uni - directional ball allows for
upstream venting of the body cavity in the closed position.
Effective bonnet extension conforms to
industry standards for wall thickness and lengths reducing
heat transfer and frost free packing.
Bolt-on or welded bonnet construction.
Special PCTFE seats.
Live loaded V-Ring stem assembly.
Direct mounting of actuators to
valves.
